"I was looking for a quiet place with great view of the Taal Lake so I could spend a couple of days with my elderly parents before returning the the US. I narrowed down my list to 3 places: the Taal Vista, Lake Hotel and Carmelence View. Boy am I glad I chose Carmelence View! I based my decision after reading the great reviews about the place. "I have stayed in taal vista several times in the past this was the 1st time I was placed in a room that was so old and dingy. The towel holder even fell on my husbands head. For a ~10k per night it wasnt worth it. I will think more than twice before I book the hotel again in the future. i used to like the place."
