"Stayed one night at Hotel Zags. I got a quiet room and had a great nights sleep on a very comfy bed. I also did a "build your own smores" plate which was pretty fun and the kitchen gave me a carton of milk to wash it down. The cold continental breakfast bar in the morning was fine but I would not recommend it for someone who is diabetic. Overall it was a really nice stay and next time I have to be in Portland overnight I would definitely stay again."

"Such a bummer that we expected an amazing visit to the Hoxton but were disappointed by the uncomfortable bedding, slow WiFi and lacking room amenities. The room really needed somewhere we could put our luggage and I had to request a luggage stand from the front desk. In the age of gigabit Internet the Hoxton choose to allocate barely 10 Mb/s (I tested a few times) to our room which doesn't properly support streaming. But the real problem was the low bed frame, uncomfortable mattress (too soft)...

"The hotel was conveniently placed for an event at the Redd. It was also easy to walk the bridge to downtown. The hotel lobby is bright, clean and easy to relax on. The rooms were poorly designed. No sink in the bathroom. Just awkward. The sound proofing was unreal, luckily it wasn't busy during our stay but you could clearly hear everything in the hall way outside our door. Even ppl walking sounded like they were in your room. Also the bathroom has a small sliding door, again no sound...

"We regularly stay at the Woodlark for the location. It’s expensive so we keep a lookout for when their rates are lower than their typical price. The beds are super comfortable. The soap and lotions are divine. It’s downtown in a safe area. It’s easy to access other parts of Portland by car from here. We self park at a relatively near parking garage on 10th which is much cheaper than the valet service."
