"I've stayed in dozens of hotels over the years and this was among my favourites. It's a great location close to the center of historic Brugges, beautifully decorated, and our room was quite lovely and a decent size. The breakfast buffet, in a renovated room with lots of seating, was included and had a variety of delicious, high quality options (salmon, cheeses, meats, as well as traditionalenglish and american style options). We also enjoyed tea one evening in their beautifully appointed lounge...
"So I dont often write reviews, but this hotel blew me away for its price and quality.
The lobby was built nice and smelled nice too with lots of antiques, the terrace on the side of the building was also really nicely built and facing a park/field.
It wasnt soo expensive but for the price I payed I got an excellent small yet simple room that smelled fresh and tidy with a nice bathroom.
There is a decent sized parking lot behind the building, and a cover parking that you have to pay for.
It sits...
"The hotel is lovely. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The pool was lovely and warm too. A great place to stay."
"We stayed in a family room. As soon as we checked in, it was clear the room had not been cleaned - old clothes on the floor and food in the fridge area. We requested the room be cleaned again. Unfortunately it was clear on other days the room wasn’t being hoovered, no new bin liners etc.
We had constant issues with our pass locking us out the room. We had a baby so this was very inconvenient but the reception desk did not apologise despite our being upset.
The breakfast is excellent and the...
"Hotel Navarre made our stay in Brugge really special. We were very happy to see how beautiful it was as we pulled up; but it was the staff, location, comfortable room and lovely breakfast that made it a place we would come back to. Staff member Indy went the extra mile to help us get a taxi on a particularly busy morning in at the hotel due to special events in the city."
"Very disappointing stay. Upon entering the room, it was immediately clear that basic housekeeping standards had not been met. Most shockingly, there were suspicious, foul-looking brown smears on the wall, alongside a persistent stench coming from the bathroom. Basic hygiene and acceptable service were entirely absent. I would not recommend staying here."
"A perfect stop to break-up our journey back to the UK. Parking is free and easy and the hotel is dog friendly. Staff entertained my poor French but speak fluent English. Restaurant is good and breakfast worth paying extra for - good choice, not just continental fare. We stayed during very hot August period, but rooms air conditioned and it works well. No complaints."
