"Accommodatie goed en schoon. Personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Restaurant lekker, de kaart kan misschien wat uitgebreider, maar wij waren er vrij lang. Dat betekent ook dat je een band met het personeel opbouwt. Dat was heel fijn."
"The property is absolutely beautiful. It’s peaceful and tranquil. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the breakfast buffet is plentiful with a ton of variety that will suit everyone’s pallet. The staff is very helpful and wonderful and will go above and beyond to make your stay very welcomed and comfortable. They accommodated us even when we were checking out and stored our luggage while we waited to check into our new destination. We were even given little goodie bags. Our room was...
"This hotel is a beautiful romantic getaway. You will relax and take in the lovely Chianti Classico scenery at the pool. At night the restaurant prepared delicious local cuisine and you can pair it with an amazing bottle of local wine!"
"Beautiful 14th century villa in the Tuscan hills with very pretty pool and restaurant areas, and very helpful and friendly staff. The food was hearty and enjoyable, but not the highest standard, even compared to restaurants in the area. It's in a great location for exploring Florence, Chianti region and Siena. The room we used (superior garden view) was good, very interesting features due to the age of the property, with a stunning view. However, it was not very cosy for spending time in and the...
"The place smelled like mold and mildew, the ceiling has leak stains and bathroom had mold. I couldn’t force myself to stay, was afraid I may get sick. Horrible experience! Ended up booking another hotel and left.
Luca, the guy at the friend desk wouldn’t even give me the manager’s name."
"I’m not even sure where to start with this incredible property. It’s an absolute oasis in the heart of Chianti wine region. Theres an extremely well kept pool that overlooks the rolling hills of wineries. The staff are amazing, so accommodating, and predict your every need. The rooms are great and clean and perfect for a couple traveling to wine region. If you aren’t driving yourself, make sure to reach out to the hotel ahead of time to book any car services — transfers within the region are...
"We loved this hotel. We were in the area for a sporting event and it was the perfect location for us. The hotel was gorgeous, authentic and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was really good with an amazing selection of cakes, pastries, fruit, cold meats and hot items. The staff were lovely and very helpful and the whole place just had a nice feel to it. Lighting in a bathroom is really important to me and the room we had was perfect. I wish we could have stayed there longer but they were fully...
"The property is now under new ownership and it’s so upsetting because the views are absolutely breathtaking but housekeeping is only done upon request and even when you request it they leave the room service dishes in the middle of the table and do t replace your towels. We had to arrange our own taxis and handle our own luggage. This property has a long way to go in the hospitality industry if they’re going to succeed!"
"The property and building is beautiful and so historic. It was close enough to San Gimignano to walk but also was a private sanctuary with a pool and restaurant to let you ."
