Beach is not swimmable. We picked this because of the kids playpool and sad to say - the amenities of the kids pool were NOT WORKING and we weren’t even allowed to swim in the pool- a HUGE Disappointment for us and our child. We wanted to be able to relax by the pool. Breakfast was terrible and minimal super basic options. The hotel is huge and a convention type. Would we stay here again? Probably not. Many more same price...

This place is perfect if you're looking to escape touristy, overcrowded spots. It offers a stunning long beach with crystal-clear water and charming beach bars that create the perfect laid-back vibe. The area is well connected — getting around with Uber is super easy, and there are plenty of great excursions nearby.
*Pro tip:* book your airport transfer privately in advance...
"Room was large, bed very comfortable. Nice private balcony. First hotel in 2 weeks that we were able to have ultra hot shower. Breakfast was a fabulous with heaps of dishes to choose from, pick from poached, fried or fresh made omelette. Location fabulous being right across the road from the beach. All staff were wonderful"
"This was an excellent place to stay. We had a well maintained villa all to ourselves. Everything was provided, even an excellent coffee machine! The pool was lovely, just peaceful and quiet.
Breakfast was served in the villa although the latest you could have was 9am which was a bit early for holidays.
You need your own transport but it’s only a short drive to Cha-am and some lovely seafood beach restaurants.

A really cozy hotel in Cha Am, in a quiet area where privacy is your best friend. The entrance sign on the roadside is pretty hard to spot. At the end of a pretty narrow road is where Veranda is situated, right next to the beach.
