I even had a fireplace in the room and used it on a chilly wet night. The bedding was better than home and was super comfortable with a variety of pillows for every taste. All of the restaurants and bars in downtown SLO are literally 2 blocks away which was extremely convenient but also far enough away that there were no noise issues.
