"Personeel was zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk! Ze hebben er echt een mooi verblijf van gemaakt voor mijn partner die jarig was. Mooie accomodatie. Enige verbeterpunt zou het ontbijt zijn. Als er twee extra personeelsleden zouden zijn die alles regelmatig bijvulden en de tafels opruimden (of een plek waar wij onze vaat neer kunnen zetten), dan zou dat al een enorme verbetering zijn. Met name een organisatorisch punt die verbetert moet worden, kwaliteit van ontbijt en de ruimte zijn mooi en goed."
"It was centrally located in an antique style building …..however the bathroom in our room could easily be refreshed from too much use …..caulking , paint, etc . definitely in good need . There was a wonderful feature on each floor hallway by the elevator : water dispenser , BOTH regular and sparkling water that was truly an added plus . The breakfast offerings were extensive while there were plenty of available tables as it was never crowded . One major drawback : exterior maintenance in France...
"The hotel is opposite eurostar staion and is very conveniently located to explore lille town by walking. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. However the entrance lobby and corridors are not great. The carpet in corridors looked old and entrance lobby was not attractive for a 4 star hotel. The breakfast selection was limited too."
"Hotel is located near both train stations and also within walking distance of the city. The hotel itself was clean and had everything we needed. Wee bit tired in places but wasn't and issue. Would recommend."
"It’s a beautiful building and an exceptional location. But I struggle to see how this can be a 4 star. The carpet on the rooms is very very old and stained, the bed sheets are so short that they keep moving about and you end up sleeping on the raw mattress, and the air dryier is one of those wall mounted ones - which I don’t think I have ever seen in a 4 star. I asked whether I could get a normal plug-to-wall one but I was told no (I’m not the most kind of manners)"
"A great home base for a cycling trip. The rooms were very clean and modern and all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
There was a convenient and secure bike storage room in the garage with local bike services nearby. The many routes as detailed by the Centrum RVV all originate at the doorstep of the hotel.
It was a very warm week in Belgium, so it was wonderful to relax with a drink on their backyard patio where there was both ample shade and a nice breeze.
