"Excluding the non functional ac in my room it was a very pleasant stay with incredible views of the minster very safe for solo travellers and for people who like nights out its round the corner from the iconic flares nightclub for people who like peace and quiet it is also really well suited the rooms have excellent sound insulation hardly any noise"

"An excellent experience. Stayed on a Sunday night and the hotel was fairly quiet so was upgraded to a suite which was fabulous. My daughter is at York University so we have been frequent visitors and generally stay here. It felt therefore like a reward for our frequent visits which made me feel like a valued guest!"

Unfortunately, the reception experience fell short. We arrived with friends to check in, and despite two receptionists being available, we were ignored while a couple who arrived after us were served first. It set the wrong tone, and no information was offered about breakfast times or dining...

"Beautiful hotel and room. Really convenient for the station too. Very efficient air conditioning which was hugely appreciated in the hot weather. Christina on reception showed us to our lovely room, that’s a great touch. Highly recommended, we will return."
