"The Harbour Hotel in Galway is extremely well situated. We were able to walk (with luggage) to and from the train station. Also, the walk to the heart of the city is about 5 mins.
The room was large, comfortable, and had all the amenities one would expect including a small fridge.
My wife and I would stay there again."
"Really, really loved our stay here!!! Bed + Pillows were SOOO comfortable, we wished our bed at home was that comfortable. The property was clean, felt luxurious, smelled amazing, all great things. It’s a bit of a walk to city center, but nothing unmanageable. We would for sure stay here again when coming back to Galway!"
"The hotel is a bit of distance from downtown Galway. The hotel itself, fantastic!! Breakfast buffet is highly recommended, many options, hot & always replenishing. The gym was dynamite, multiple floors with new & old gym equipment. The Courtyard restaurant had great offerings & very delicious. Mollie, was unbelievably helpful, a pure delight to deal with. She made our stay much better & always there to help out."
"The shower doesn't hold any water so it floods the bathroom. There's constant, I mean CONSTANT noise in the hallway and outside the window. The room is small and dark. There's only 5 channels on the TV. There was a dead roach in the bathroom. The coffee sucks. I can keep going, but I think you get the point. Never ever again would I stay at a Leonardo property and will discourage my family members from doing so as well."
"Such a gorgeous property from walking down the entrance to the gardens to the foyer the cosy little snugs everywhere. The room was amazing and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food at the bistro was delicious. The breakfast was on point. Enjoyed the leisure centre so much. The whole stay was a real treat!"
"Rooms were clean but dated and needed work in several areas. You could not eat in dining room without reservations, but it wasn’t a 5 star type restaurant. Food was good but atmosphere very casual. Good selection of pillow option for bed. No AC, but windows that open"
"Staff was helpful and confirmed upgraded room to bay view. They also provided information for their on-site dining if it were to be of interest. Easy check in and check out. Getting out of the on-site parking was not intuitive (free for hotel guests) and staff had to clarify to just hit the help button on the exit and they would open the gate. Overall a lovely stay with amazing views. Sunrise on the Bay was incredible."
"Great rooms and reception were great. Bar lively and food was good. Pool excellent. Slight let down with buffet breakfast that could have been made by the plate rather than drying in the bain marie..staff were really focussed on keeping the buffet topped up....but that meant we had to call for coffee after several minutes... having said that, would stay again if in area...almost 10/10!"
