"The Marina was a great spot for a one-night stayover in Waterford. Our room was comfortable and the hotel restaurant was very good (we ate dinner and breakfast there our next morning). Staff was friendly and helpful. We had a too-short 1/2 day stay in Waterford for sightseeing but the Marina Hotel was very well located for that purpose. Everything was walkable.

"The room was filled with three beds even though we booked a one double. Furniture was overloaded and did not fit the room. Rooms that were recently refurbished on the third floor looked to be fine.
Breakfast was good but restaurant was crowded. Staff worked their best to serve the food and clear tables in a timely manner."

"From the moment you pull in the driveway you get a sense of calm. The landscape is absolutely stunning. You are greeted at the door by one of the owners. They show you around then take you upstairs to your room. The decor was very calming and having its own bathroom in your room is a great bonus. Breakfast was made to order and prepared by o e of the owners as well. These 2 men have created a BnB that they should be extremely proud of. If we ever come back to this part of Ireland, we will 100%...
"Nice place but after 10 or 11 at night the owners really don't any noise what so ever..if you want to go for a night out and come back late or want to watch TV late or go out after 11 for cigarette.. you'll be approached by either Avery or Niamh and basically told keep it down so I felt uncomfortable during my stay and wouldn't return..stayed 4 days and the room wasn't serviced once..I had to go downstairs and ask for more toilet roll..towels which is unacceptable "
