"We stayed overnight before my daughter's wedding for a dinner in Stirling. I loved the vibe, historic Scotland on the outside, contemporary restaurant, bar and rooms on the inside. My bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great. It is a great walk to downtown Stirling. Only one thing I would wish for and that was air conditioning. However, this was July and not something one would encounter as outside it was chilly but the windows didn't really let in the cool weather.

"Staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Hotel itself is a little tired. Bed was like staying in my in-laws spare bedroom, on their old bed. Bathroom fan didn’t work and the ceiling was mouldy. Quiet environment about a 35 min walk from train station and old town."

"Great town to base yourself we stayed there for 8 years so we know this . The guest house is beautiful back from the road so very peaceful. The hosts are so lovely and welcoming. The room we had was a small double and it was immaculate,clean and had everything you need . Breakfast was excellent and there was plenty to eat . You won’t be disappointed "

"There is no staff present and the hosts don't reply when you email them. The rooms are cozy and clean but not sound proof. Breakfast is provided along with fresh eggs but there's no way to cook them other than in a microwave. The bathroom has a tub and a handheld shower, impossible for anyone to shower without wetting the entire bathroom. The bathroom sink is little more than a birdbath. No fan or ventilation other than opening the front door."

The service was faultless at both dinner and breakfast. The food at dinner was very good . Breakfast food was good quality but was very overcooked. We enjoyed our stay."
"We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived. Accommodation was very comfortable & clean. Shower was amazing. We had a room overlooking the river. Great choice at breakfast. Would definitely recommend having the full breakfast."
