"This hotel is in a prime location in Arthurs Pass National park near many trailheads as well as the village. Room was large and clean, with super view on the balcony. Our only complaint was lack of a microwave and signs saying that cooking in room is not allowed, and minimal kitchen dishes etc even though the room was advertised as having a kitchenette. There is a good hotel restaurant and they obviously want you to eat there. The breakfast buffet is an average continental breakfast. "

"We spent 2 nights at Grasmere and loved every minute. The views were stunning, the property was very well kept, excellent service, the room was clean, a good size, and the bed was comfortable. A great place for peaceful, relaxing holiday. "
