"Pleasant surroundings, waterfront view, not too busywhich i liked ( we stayed for a week),bus nearby, everything in one place. Would have liked minibar in room. Had to pay $30 extra for 1 hr extra on checkout. No freebies, cost $1 for cardboard container to take meal back to room but otherwise a lovely stay"
"The family room is spacious, and the bedding is comfortable.
However, the air conditioner is very dirty. I can see the mould inside. The machine keeps turning on and off frequently.
The room inside didn’t have an air conditioner. That means in summertime, you need to open the door to keep it cool.
Worst of all, the hotel charged me $4.50 for a tonic water from the room’s fridge that I didn't drink! I didn't take any food or drinks from the minibar. It's very unacceptable and disappointing. The...
"The property is a good stop over accom, clean and central.
However we brought the kale pasta on the restaurant which needs to be reconsidered it was definitely overpriced and not a great choice"
"The property was very clean, had plenty of car parking and was close to the part of town we needed to be. We checked in after hours and it was very smooth."
"Convenient location in the city, short walk to Salamanca Market, restaurants & other attractions. Very limited and tight parking in the carpark & not always available. Most parking on the streets is paid & time limited. Laundry on two levels but only one washing machine & dryer on our level, can be difficult to get washing done & dry as some people can monopolise the machines."
"Very clean. Had everything we needed. Staff was very friendly and our kids loved the indoor pool and games room. Great for families and easy parking. Good location"
"The hotel was fine for one night. The food in the restaurant was good and the service staff were very friendly. When I made the reservation, it said that they were going to leave a bottle of wine in our room, but that never happened. Not a big deal though.
My husband wrote, ‘clean me’ on the inside of our bedroom window- don’t think the inside of the windows have been cleaned for a very long time"
"Single worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. 1 staff on bar most of the time. 50 plus people there for an event. Impossible to deal with any of the staff. Overcharged for everything, now can’t get hold of any staff over the phone to get money back. Would never stay again, would never even enter the establishment again. Worst. Ever."
"Beautiful property. The room was spacious and had everything one needs, including extra blankets, fridge, microwave and cups, utensils , coffee and tea.
I loved the courtyard with the flowers. Liz, the manager, was very helpful with my travel plans in Tasmania. She took time to show me the maps, check travels times, answer my questions. Thank you, Liz. Great to have ample parking and laundry."
