"I really looked forward to staying at this unique location, but after two nights felt the “luxury” accommodations were quite overpriced. First, beware when booking that the individual cabins (hides) are located up gravel paths from the main reception, bar, and dining room. Ours was at one of the furthest points, a quarter mile from the parking up a very steep hill. A staff member will deliver your bags by golf cart, but cannot transport guests. This is not mentioned when booking. While hiking up...

"The perfect location for all of your Isle of Skye exploration. Nice staff and good clean rooms. My husband and I found the room nice with a beautiful first floor view of the grounds but a little cramped and maybe needing a little refresh. We were told it was an upgrade due to the view, however the room was next to the housekeeping closet which meant it was quite loud early in the morning. The breakfast each morning was lovely. Everyone we met on staff was really helpful and kind."

"Stunning scenery, very quiet and peaceful. Jr suite was amazing although i didn't care for the pebble floor in the bathroom, feet are tender i suppose. Free sauna sitting down the slope was fantastic, it was by appt only so completely private. Overall 10 of 10"
