"The staff was very friendly, even though our room was not ready after 4pm. They then fixed it within 20+ minutes. In Expedia, it is mentioned that the center of town is 3 minutes away by car, but it is more like 10 minutes. And what is called a "mountain view" is a view on the parking lot."

"Extremely slow check-in process, our room was only ready at 5:30pm, desk service was poor. Our room was not cleaned and towels were not replaced for 2 days. I needed to go down to the reception to ask for toilet paper. Staff has poor English knowledge. Food selection was below our expectations. At dinner, there was no table service for drinks, only a single and slow waitress at the bar with a long queue to get some drinks. Hotel facility was good especially for skiing. Das Personal besticht durch seine Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit, so dass man sich ab der ersten Minute wie zu Hause fuehlt. Nicht verpassen darf man das Restaurant, mit tollen regionalen Produkten. Der Grillabend war definitiv mein Favorit. In den Hofwirt werde ich jederzeit sehr gerne wieder einkehren. Mit oder ohne Uebernachtung."

September 2016 Sackwiesenalm, Hochschwab, Steiermark land, Austria Sackwiesenalm is a picturesque mountain meadow just under the main range of Hochschwab mountain range. It is located in altitude of 1.458 meters. Its name probably refers to the fact that is is a moist meadow or a small moorland. It is few hours hike southwest from the Schiestlhaus and totally worth due to the variable countryside (barren limestone plateau with grassy meadows, green scrub pine forrests, classical mountain forrests) and near Sackwiesensee offering a natural swimming opportunity.
