"Great location and they let us park for the morning of our arrival although check in was at 3pm. Comfortable room and bed. Great breakfast service.
Will visit again."
"Als Geschäftsreisender auf der Durchreise war es in Ordnung. Das Hotel ist auch schon in die Jahre gekommen.
Das Frühstück war frisch gemacht und sehr lecker"
"A little dated and basic, but was very pleasantly surprised! Enjoyed my spontaneous night here with the dog, staff very kind and helpful. Big cups in the room, with nice biscuits and Yorkshire tea! Very affordable too for the night, would very happily return - given at a services, I didn’t hear the motorway at all! I stayed for convenience, not a ‘need’ and personally for £37 a night, I’d happily go back again!"
"The staff were very helpful and clearly took pride in their work. Clean, comfortable bed and a nice It’s clearly an old pub and the room also had a lot of character which was a refreshing change from the tendency nowadays to make everything the same. Very nice breakfast with very friendly staff."
"Everything was great. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is very well organized and maintained. It is also an excellent choice for families with children, offering a comfortable and welcoming environment. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it to other travellers."
"Siamo arrivati in serata e il personale è stato disponibile nell'accoglierci per il check-in. La stanza era piccola ma molto carina e curata, letto molto comodo. Comodissima la posizione centrale e letteralmente di fronte alla cattedrale di Wells. Consigliato!"

The room was big but very dated but we didn’t mind as we would be at a wedding rehearsal that evening and the wedding the next day so little time spent in the room. On initial view I noticed the carpet was really dirty and there was no toilet roll, the member of staff at...
"While the stay was just ok, I was disappointed with the support from the hotel team in getting good wifi in room 20. The mobile network was patchy in this place, and on top of that, the wifi in the room was on and off. It disrupted my planned work. Reporting this to the staff did not help. This place would be my last choice next time."
"It was located in a quiet historic village. The room was nice . Comfy bed , nice shower and bathroom.
An Excellent full breakfast!
And all for a very good price! 🙂"
