But, lumpy creaky mattress, missing light bulbs, a TV/no channels programmed, a simple box of tissues all lacking even after a request placed. But, all in all a roof over our heads, a good shower facility, a view of the water & Bressay Island, central location for exploring the shops and walking the wonderful town of Lerwick."

"Staff were super friendly and helpful . The room we had was fine, although there was an overwhelming smell of chemicals which was quite off putting. Breakfast was good and the view was amazing"

"Very lovely little hotel. The location is a little more remote in terms of things to do or eat. The only restaurant in the area was the one in my hotel. So i ended up driving about 25 minutes to eat in Portree. The property is lovely and my room was great with the most beautiful view. Breakfast at the restaurant was great. One morning I was leaving early to hike and they made me a packed breakfast to take which was very kind. Front desk girl was very sweet and friendly and the tall young man that worked the bar was very nice. Overall very lovely stay, comfortable and wonderful view."
