"Super friendly manager. Excellent location. Excellent hot water, good shower. Comfortable bed. Outstanding Wi-Fi (although the manager told us some rooms work better than others).
The only thing that could be better is the AC cycling. When it is on, it gets pretty cold and then when it turns off, it gets warm. The cycle differential is way too large. There is not really a middle ground."
"Everything at north seymour worked very well, hot water for the shower, plenty of room above on the terrace. We stayed in one of the two upstairs rooms, we had a lot of privacy and felt at home. The Hist is always available and ready to meet your needs.

"We had the best time in Galapagos and one of them was the hotel. The 2 ladies in reception were excellent extremely helpful and so kind.
Very safe place, the breakfasts are stunning, we were able to try at least one day bc the other we had a early tours. The location is perfect bc it is at the Main Street. It guides you directly to the malecón with less than the 10 min walk.
Overall amazing super clean and perfect for overnight we stay 3 nights and not complain at all."

The biggest issue was how the owner handled a pricing error. After our first night, we were overcharged at check-in due to a discrepancy with the price advertised and confirmed online. Instead of taking responsibility, the owner, Rocio, blamed Expedia and the customer.

"So firstly this is a catfish property. The rooms do not have ocean view, that you see in the photos. That section of the property is not open to guest.
The entire front of the house (the nice views) is like a families living space. I was pretty upset about this as the property is advertised as such and that’s a HUGE selling point.
Secondly, the water does not get hot. It was terrible. And the water pressure was like a drizzle. The WiFi also did not work.
