"Peaceful and secluded location outside San Pedro. If you are a self sufficient traveler and prefer to stay away from the city and lots of people this is the best place! The staff are outstanding, so kind and helpful. Don't let the distance from San Pedro discourage you. Rent a golf cart and embrace living like a local to drive the bumpy dirt road to/from the resort. My partner and I plan our vacations around locations we can access good shore/beach fishing from and this place is perfect for...

"New property and very clean!!!!Awesome amenities including free transportation to nearby beaches. The units and private pool was cleaned daily! The staff catered to our every need! The views of the sea and lagoon were simply beautiful The staff were pleasant, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We are definitely coming back!"

"Very nice small hotel in secret beach. Staff are very attentive to guests needs and requests. The property is well kept, very nice sunset views over the water and nice small private beach. A peaceful retreat away from the noisy secret beach places. This is the lagoon side, not the reef, so the water is shallow and you are in a mangrove forest so be prepared to deal with mosquitoes, nothing a good spray can’t fix. Basically the only place in ambergris caye where you can escape the horrendous...

"property was nice and close to everything. The only thing about the place was the cockroaches inside the stay. they came out more at night. there were also alot of ants. we kept everything closed and clean as possible but still had so many ants."

"Big clean space! Lots of amenities and equipment included in the price. Very convenient location and the best was that the staff were all super amazing and friendly!"

"Undoubtably the most relaxing and peaceful vacations i have ever had. We spent a week there and from the minute we pulled up the staff made themselves available to us. Never overbearing just knowledgeable, kind and helpful. We left feeling like we were leaving friends. Absolutely loved everything about Playa De Sala!"

"This place is the ultimate place in san Pedro for a solid relax and rest vacation. I found sand and sky on Expedia after looking for a peaceful location outside of town. It consists of just 6 caisitas on the beach and because of that, the quality and hospitality is truly next level. The room itself is not only visually stunning on the outside but it's cozy on the inside. A comfortable bed, beautiful sun lit shower, and it's extremely clean !!! The owner Ronna went above and beyond when it came...

"There is nothing bad to say about Tara Del Sol. The apartment was so clean and absolutely beautiful. We had a beautiful view of the beach. We enjoyed the pool, corn hole, and hanging in the hammocks. Sandra helped us with everything we needed- transport to and from the airport, golf cart, snorkeling excursion, coffee recommendations…she was awesome! You can’t go wrong staying here!"

"This hotel is conveniently located to eateries, both local and tourist based. We had a full kitchen which allowed us to buy fruits and veggies for snacks between meals at the restaurants. The appearance is very rustic on the outside, but don’t be too quick to judge. The staff was excellent and accommodating. They were very personable and informative. The room was very clean and well maintained. We would stay again."

"The staff was amazing! They were super friendly and knowledgeable. Aileen was very attentive, seeming to anticipate our every need, She prearranged transportation for us to and from the port/terminal, made excellent recommendations, and stocked the location with everything we could use including things we didn't know we needed but did."
