"The Leisure facilities were pretty good. The staircase is very impressive and the general hotel is lovely. I feel that the standard rooms are fairly tired especially for the high price we paid. Overall, a good stay but a little expensive for what it was."

"If you want to keep an eye on the Snowdon Mountain Railway or be close to the beginning of the Llanberis path up Mt. Snowdon, this is the place to be. And, if its raining and cold, you'll be content to eat at the Hotel's pub. There's a short walk through the woods to Dolbadarn Castle which is, yes, a castle in Wales, and very picturesque. Breakfast is adequate- an arrival of multiple coaches may have you relocated to a smaller dining room which happened to us, but then we were not on anyone...

"Lovely stay. Very comfortable, homely, large clean room. Vey Pleasant helpful staff/owner. Easy to check in & out. Nice added extras, that I wasn’t expecting like fresh milk & biscuits in the room. Seaside so close by. Nice breakfast to help yourself to, so I would love to return."

"This hotel is beautiful and is at an incredible location in Anglesey and is very close by to many lovely parts of Anglesey that you can drive to , walk to or get a local boat such as Puffin island ."

"All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was great and included in the stay. Evening meals were some of the best I have had lovely. Absolutely excellent value. Not a modern soulless hotel but an older place with a friendly atmosphere."
