"Room we got was tiny and run down. The bathroom could hardly fit a shower, trailer seat and a sink which were merely in to of each other. Additionally, the humidity has affected the bathroom. Overall the hotel does not deserve the start rating it has. Parking was not available even that we tried to book in advance as advised and the reception staff who checked us in was not very helpful. Thankfully the lady was much more inventative and helpful. This is not my first trip to Plovdiv but...
"A pleasant hotel in Plovdiv. A solid 3*. We were given a suite on the first floor. The room was very large, with a good bed. Clean sheets and towels. A good shower. Pleasant staff. Our car was parked in a small lot in front of the hotel. The hotel is not new, but in good condition. We had mobile internet, so we didn't use the hotel Wi-Fi."

The hotel has apparently been “recently renovated”, a phrase which in this case appears to mean that someone was allowed loose with a budget smaller than the GDP of a medium-sized carrot. The architecture is of such determined ugliness that it makes some more adventurous architectural firms look positively inspired. The overall effect can best be described as “municipal regret”.

"This place is Awesome!!!
It is a small boutique hotel located right on the edge of Old Town. The owner, Dimitar, was there to greet us upon our arrival. He took the time to explain all of the points of interest in the area and even gave us excellent suggestions on where to eat. He even suggested a great hotel to stay at on our next stop, which was Veliko Tarnovo.
His place is like a museum and he treats everyone like family. He even joined us for breakfast. You won't be disappointed with this...
