"Hotels.com messed up the booking , took my money and did not inform hotel. Staff were helpful to resolve by chance. Restaurant made us wait 2 hours for food which was warm outside and ice cold inside for chicken"

Rooms are well appointed, linen is spotless, beds are firm and pillows are fresh. Bathroom is tiny but it does the job. The beer is cold, the menu is basic but the chef does a great job and we had a very good meal here. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful."
