"We overall had a good stay. The location was very central and walking distance to all the major sights to see. However the cooling unit in the room didn’t work properly and kept shutting itself off so we got quite warm. The espresso machine was out of order in the lobby. There were dead bugs squished on the ceiling over our bed."
"Check in, staff, breakfast and room were excellent. Even the parking was great and convenient.....once we had found it. No fault of the hotel because the street in front of the hotel is closed for construction and our GPS wasn't aware of that."
"Staff were helpful, finding the parking was a bit of a nightmare but a member of staff managed to help, the parking under The hotel is secure. The hotel and the room has been cheaply done. The tap in our room was broken, the toilet was so close to the wall that it was difficult to sit down properly. We were at the front of the hotel which has a nice view but it is very noisy. The bed was also broken so every time you moved it squeezed. Only the mattress topper had a sheet on it, not the mattress...
"Staff were mostly friendly. Nobody made up the bed and cleaned the room. Aldo, we were not given fresh towels the next day even though someone had clearly come into the room to empty the bin and replace the toilet roll"
"We stayed two nights at this beautiful hotel. The position right by the canal and beautiful old breakfast room full of charm and good food just topped it off. Loved it!"
"Lovely twin bed room but facing the busy street, it is noisy if one wants to open the window to get some fresh air. Would ask for a room facing away from the street next time."
