"It's in a really good spot for tourists but parking can be difficult. The room was nice and spacious. Breakfast has a wide variety of things which was the same every day. Kids under a certain age are free for breakfast. They also do a promotion that you get a free drink at the bar if you decide ahead of time to skip the cleaners. We originally thought it was only one drink but it seemed like a free drink per person per day because we had 8 vouchers."
"Lovely twin bed room but facing the busy street, it is noisy if one wants to open the window to get some fresh air. Would ask for a room facing away from the street next time."
"Excellent 3 night stay.!
Very friendly and welcoming front desk.
Hotel felt cozy and the canal view double room we stayed in looked like it had been recently renovated and was immaculate. Would definitely stay here again."
"We liked the fact you could get free hot drinks, but our room was cold, the sofa was very uncomfortable and there was only one english channel on the TV. Also we had dinner and the food was awful neither my son or myself were able to eat our meals. We paid for breakfast and that was very poor also selection was limited and what was there of the hot food was dry and cold."
"Second trip to Bruges. We would spend the extra money for a better hotel (four days). Photos are inconsistent with the hotel itself. The staff was not responsive and/or curt and not easily seen or available. The hotel maintenance was not good - rusty areas and bathtub with non-functioning plug. When we checked out and offered helpful feedback, we were treated in a dismissive manner. Love the city and will return but not to this hotel."
"This hotel is in a lovely location right in the middle of the older part of the city, right on a canal, in a building that is a couple hundred years old, This has pluses and minuses. On the plus side, you are right in the old part of town, close to the sights and museums and in the thick of things. On the minus side, the nearest parking is 200m away and separately paid for, there are always crowds outside, and the building has some quirks, like squeaky floors & door hardware and there is no...
"Overall, the hotel is great; the staff are friendly, the continental breakfast was good with many choices, there was secure Ironman storage for bikes and other baggage, and the location was not far from 'green' lower cost parking.
The bathroom extractor fan did not work but this did not impact on the really hood shower."
