Speaking of transportation, 3min walk when arriving by train and the tram is at your door. We walked the city easily from here. "We chose Maxim Axial for the location, the hotel is literally right down the street from the Duomo, with endless shops, restaurants, and beautiful streets to wander just outside the door. Florence is a walking city and this location was perfect for exploring everything on foot. The hotel itself is a little dated, but it was well maintained, clean, and comfortable with nice bedding and very cold air-conditioning. One helpful note, the check-in desk and lobby are located on the third floor so...
