"We chose this place based purely on its location and hoped for the best. It didn’t wow us, but it didn’t disappoint. My biggest issue is that there was no one in the office for check in, our key was in an envelope with our names on it taped to the office door with a page of instructions, and we had to call the number on the instruction sheet to find out about things like the wifi only to be told that it was in “the notebook”. The notebook they referred to was buried in a basket that I had to dig...

"first off, the hotel had signs saying the restaurant and bar were closed for renovation...not anything mentioned on the hotels.com site.....secondly, the first room they put us in was dank, and moldy smelling. the second room they put us in was bare bones, no ice bucket, cups, etc etc. We had paid for two nights, stayed the first night, complained to front desk, they said they would do what they could... after they did nothing, hotels.com gave me one key cash to cover second night...btw. hotel...

"One of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Nice view and outdoor space, very clean and spacious inside, and every amenity was taken care of - from coffee, to bed linens, to shampoo/conditioner, to beach towels, to laundry detergent, to pots and pans. We had a bit of an issue with an A/C malfunction but the owner was responsive and got it resolved."
