"The room was dirty!! The mirrors had handprints on them the carpets were dirty there was trash and a beer left if the felon there was hair in th tub and the bathroom floor was filthy! The cleaning staff came and cleaned while we were there in the room!! I also had booked two rooms and the second room was not available until well after check in time!! It also was dirty!! Hair in the tub as well as a used bar of soap over all filthy!!! This was a terrible experience and complained to the front...
"The parking was nice, the staff acceptable they let us check in early, the air conditioner worked. There was mold on the shower curtain and fan in bath room, and stains in the carpet but no sign of mice roaches or bed bugs in the room. We only were there to sleep and it did what it was supposed to. The location was okay, near stores including a Trader Joe’s. Over all 3 out of 5 I’ve stayed better. If you just need a place to rest your head, and want a okay location this is the place."
"Clean older hotel. Strong cleaning product smell when entering the room. Dissipated after leaving door and windows open for a while. Beds clean and comfortable with nice cotton linens . Walking distance to nice restaurants."
"Not sure if it’s the area but this hotel seems expensive for what it is especially with the extra local fees added at the hotel! It is in a nice location near the lake and a walkable distance from restaurants. Room was comfortable but no coffee facilities in the room - you have to walk down the corridor to fetch it (not ideal first thing in the morning). The coffee machine there wasn’t brilliant & cold water tap broken. We ate lunch at the cafe in the hotel on a rainy day and it was pretty poor...
"Breakfast was excellent and the service by Christine was excellent! She deserves a great deal of credit for attending to a large variety of food as well as assisting guests.
Hotel very clean in both my room and the common areas."
"The set up of the space was excellent for the 7 of us. The beds were extremely comfortable. The place could use some sprucing up. But overall a fine place to stay for 2 nights. The breakfast is what you can expect for free.
I would stay again."
"I really have no complaints on the facility and staff - they were great. Very polite. My only complaint was that returning to our room one night it reeked of Marijuana. We thought someone hd been in there smoking. We were told by the Jovan and that the person in the next room was smoking it. They spayed our room and brought fresh towels. The next night it still had a strong smell, especially in the bathroom. I don't smoke cigarettes or pot and I don't care that someone does. We just do not want...
"The photos of the room do not reflect reality at all. The bedroom was very dark, and the furniture was old and dirty. Even the cushions looked like they had been there for years and were clearly worn out.
Although the room was a generous size, the overall condition gave us a very bad first impression. The room felt creepy and uncomfortable, and we immediately felt uneasy about staying there.
It was 11 p.m. on a rainy night, when we arrived at the hotel, but we decided not to stay. My first...
"The King room was big. Having a sofa was great. Breakfast was okay...eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles and bagels.
When crowded, seating is limited for breakfast...but it allowed us to meet new people.
Staff was mostly nice, our only complaint was that no one brought us clean towels or made the bed over the entire 9 days. They only tried on the last day and I had left my suitcase on the bed, so they wouldn’t touch it (that was the only time something was left on the bed).
We changed out own...
"Lovely, warm, and welcoming. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Check in was smooth and easy. The property is immaculate. Rooms are spacious and well designed. The breakfast selections please every appetite. Wonderful visit to this hotel!"
