"A family-friendly place with beautiful pool, splash zone, playground and jumping pad. The river view cabins really do have a full view of the river. The boardwalk is lovely but very short. At one end is a stagnant lagoon that smells awful, but at the other end it's a beautiful broad platform with tables and a fantastic view. Everything is clean - amenities, cabins, pathways. The pedal cars are very worn and well beyond the point of being adjustable. The seat popped off ours mid-ride but luckily...
"Amazing bed and pillows for an excellent night’s sleep. Managers were super helpful on check-in and departure.
We did have an issue with sustained hot water for morning showers but otherwise everything was good.
Having a microwave in the room was a great touch as well."

"When we arrived to check in the lady asked for my card details and when I asked why when I have already paid I was told she was just doing her job. Strange as i had paid in full. She was very helpful in directing us to the best places to eat. The rooms were big, clean and spacious the beds were super comfy and there wasn't much noise when we were there, the bathrooms were OK. The shower looked like it had seen better days and it had no water pressure that being said I did read a pre warning...
"The room was a great size and comfortable. The property is very dated and tired, but it is functionally fine, especially for a short stay. We had a small issue with out room and the staff were EXCELLENT at fixing it immediately for us, despite it being after hours. Cannot fault their handling of the situation. As brand new owners they were very apologetic, however it was out of everyone's control. what was in their control is how they handled it, which was perfect. A credit to the property!"
"On arrival, the staff advised my partner and I that there was a issue with the room that was booked and were upgraded to the Bowie room. The staff advised about about the restaurants close by. The room was well laid out. The meals we had there were very good, Saturday night and Sunday lunch there was live music. We were a short walk from the beach.
