"This was a great hotel to land for a couple nights in Plettenberg. The staff was delightful especially upon our arrival we were a bit frazzled from a long drive and Kima greeted us to help us Park and get our bags to our room. The in Hotel restaurant is excellent, we ate the oxtail and the breakfast is fabulous. Two doors away is a place called 11 that we rented bikes from. The property is clean and we had a City View Suite that had plenty of room to spread out and a balcony. The property is...
"Breakfast good value for money. Staff very friendly. Room clean. The tiled floors in room very practical in summer for a seaside town, but a bit freezing in winter."
"Location was very good close to many restaurants. Safe area to walk. The only complaint we have - the tiny room layout - two single beds occupied most of the room located on at the opposite walls and corners. No place to keep the luggage, we stayed there for two nights and kept open suitcases on the floor next to the bottom of one of the beds, reducing the walkable space in the room even more.
The stuff was very friendly and the English breakfast served was good."
"This place overlooks a cliff looking out to sea. We saw literally 100’s of dolphins feeding up and down the coast. The location is close to town, the Ebb & Flow reserve, for the waterfall hike, and a short drive from the “Map of Africa” viewpoint. The breakfast was amazing. The only issue was the heater did not work in the room. We used extra blankets since it was getting cold as we visited in late fall. Overall a great stay"
"Having booked online a basic room, we enquired re upgrading and the staff were really helpful. They showed me a some different rooms and the process was very smooth. The staff were happy to help. We opted for the second floor and had a spacious room with an armchair and lounge which I always find an advantage after a days drive.
The hotel is a little bit tired, however it’s central, it’s clean and the staff are more than happy to meet all your requests."
