Fireside Inn & Suites - Belfast
10/10 Excellent
"We were looking for a place close to Bar Harbor and Arcadia National Park, without having to pay the high prices. The Fireside Inn in Belfast is only about an hour drive to Bar Harbor and it exceeded our expectations. We werent sure what to expect as we drove in through Belfast and the small towns. They really do a nice job with the landscaping and entrance on the front side of the hotel and the backside is amazing. We had a first floor room so were able to walk out of our room and walk right down to the Belfast Bay and see the stars at night and sit in front of a lit fire pit if we liked. The fitness center is decent enough to get a good workout in if you are looking to workout out, It has a couple of treadmills, a bench, and dumbbells up to 50lbs. There is no breakfast here, but there are some breakfast places that you can drive to. We would stay there again. Had a cozy vibe to the place."
Harborline Hotel
8/10 Good
"The Harborline Hotel was perfect for us as we understood what we booked. We reserved an Executiv King Suite. It was a beautiful spacious room with a beautiful bathroom and it was super clean. The Location was great. It was within wlking distance to the main downtown and a great Mexican restaurant literally across the street and 10 minute drive to Camden downtown. The staff was nice and answered any questions we had. This is not a resort so no pool or restaurant, but that should not be a surprise. In terms of rules about the outdoor doors locked by 10, that is is true but you have a passcode that you can use to get into the premise and they give you a number if you get stuck and cannot get in This was not an issue for us as we knew what we were doing. They have donuts and coffee in the lobby which we never took advantage of just due to timing. the room had a very nice balcony and a great view of the harbor. We would stay here again any time."
Whitehall
10/10 Excellent
"A beautiful place. Great breakfast. Lovely grounds. Only issue was our room fronted the street which became quite busy and loud Friday morning."
