"The room is clean and modern and reasonably priced. Location is also very convenient as it is within walking distance from Oslo Stasjon. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside was that there is construction going on and if your room faces the tram tracks or main road entrance, you actually will hear the noises up until 1-2 am in the morning before starting again at 7 am.
Xpress area to buy breakfast is pretty decent, didn't try out the warm food at night nor the bar though."
"This is one of my favorite hotels in a very long time.
Just a funky, fun space with personality, very functional and original room layout. Modern, clean, accommodating.
Staff was top notch and personable.
Real bang foe your buck in price, and central location."
"As others say, the breakfast is amazing good. Rooms reasonably priced with basic needs and comfort. Location is great, and easy to take train to and from the airport. I'm staying here again, so that speaks volumes."
"Very small, but very efficient.
I didn't try the breakfast, but it always smelled good in the lobby. The bar is great. The shower water is super hot and the water pressure is very nice."
"Der var rigtig god og stor morgenmad, personalet var venligt, hjælpsomt og imødekommende. Faciliteterne var slidt af tidens tand, men værelserne var rene og som de skulle være."
"I think TV is part of wifi network. The channels froze all the time. I suspect wifi is equally bad because they share the cheapskate network. Air blew in from bathroom. I should have closed door. Water tasted funny. In OK neighborhood. Saw hostel rooms. Looked OK. No TV. Shared by aths were OK. Close. Let me expound. I have no idea why Oslo hotels think they can charge what they do. City seemed empty. This place was the cheapest by far. So, it should be your first choice."
"Centrale ligging tussen haven en (winkel) centrum. Dichtbij openbaar vervoer zowel treinstation als voor bus- en tramvervoer. Diverse bezienswaardigheden in de buurt en goede restaurants.
Vriendelijke en behulpzame medewerkers. Uitgebreid en goed ontbijt."
"I was on a visit to Oslo to visit my son and his family. Sjølyst Scandic Hotel was the perfect location. Close to Skøyen Train station for trains to Oslo Airport. This is also at the centre of a high end shopping area which is well worth a visit. The hotel was perfect in every way and I will be returning there quite soon. ☺️"
