"My wife had Polio as a child, is a blue badge holder with limited mobility. As they advertise as being Accessible (in fact wheelchair accessible on some sites) also a lift we booked a room for 3 nights. Problem was the several steep steps into the building and to the reception desk with no ramp alternative or other means of accessing the building in view. This was a major problem as my wife cant do steps and I had literally had to help her in leg by leg in and out of the building.

"Breakfast acceptable when the tables were cleaned. We had some sort of generator outside our window that was very noisy.
Toilet difficult to flush. Shower was poor for pressure and volume of water. No shower mat, so extremely slippery.
Electrics were strange. Certain things/ lights on one circuit, so had to turn everything on. Handle to room was coming off the door, so not secure.
For the money, there are better places to stay.
Had a second week booked but cancelled."
"Room nothing like the photos. Broken sky light with no blind. Wall paper peeling off. Filthy carpets, stained and very very unpleasant.
Checked out after being there for 1/2 hour and just got " sorry".
I have stayed in some unpleasant places but this was frankly disgusting .
Waste of money, no refund offered"
"The most beautiful peaceful place to stay. Staff are just lovely and we slept so well in the comfortable bed. Great food and close to amenities. Coming back in November!"
"Liked everything except the lack of an elevator. Dinner was fantastic. Special thanks to Colin who served us breakfast. Had a very informative conversation with him."
"Staying in a single room for the night. Old fashioned hotel in a stunning location. Clean and comfortable. Shower facilities good. Very peaceful and relaxing. Had a great nights sleep. Continental breakfast was okay at best. Avoid the fruit bowl. Saw several flies hovering over it. Plus the coffee machine was erratic. When it did work, the quality of the coffee was not great. Just two minor blemishes in an otherwise enjoyable stay."
