"Fantastic location - right on the beach. Hotel provides beach towels, Umbrellas and sometimes beach chairs (first come first serve). Easy walking distance to other beaches, to the port town and to bus stops. This hotel does not have a pool. Breakfast is simple and good. Front desk staff are very helpful- they have arranged many taxi pick ups for us during our stay. Bathrooms need improving however. The shower situation is an interesting set up as water gets everywhere. One day our housekeeping...
"We enjoyed the pool and breakfast! Staff were amazing! Views from the hotel were unbeatable! Only “complaint” was the soundproofing wasn’t ideal, it was very noisy at night and could hear people in the hallway/closing their doors. If you’re a sound sleeper this won’t be a concern."
"We loved it here!! So close to the beach, close to shops and restaurants, very kind and helpful staff. The breakfast was delicious. There was a bus across the street to Naxos Town with lots of shops and restaurants! We hope to come back!!! They upgraded our room for free, the rooms were very nice and clean! The pool was as very nice and clean also."
"The staff (Poppy) was very helpful with tips on getting around Naxos. From the hotel it was a 15 minute walk to the port. Easy to walk to shopping / restaurants. We also enjoyed the pool. Nice breakfast buffet; the ladies did a great job !"
"Great location large room. Old outdated key access, outdated bathroom, minimal old furnitures,
Lack of lighting, old cumbersome sliding doors to nice big balcony. Great breakfast great staff. This spacious place needs updating."
"Petit hôtel familial merveilleux. Situation géographique ideale; 10 minutes à pied du port par le bord de mer. Propreté, confort, accueil chaleureux et petit dejeuner complet délicieux!"
"We had a wonderful stay at the Iris. It’s a clean comfortable hotel and easy walk from downtown. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Every morning we had a warm welcome from Dimitra who serves the breakfast. Anastasia at the front desk was a great help with ferry schedules when high winds delayed our departure."
"We recently had a short stay at Summer Shades Hotel. Having read some mixed reviews beforehand, we wanted to share our perspective, as we found the hotel to be a genuinely lovely experience, especially considering the very reasonable price point.
We stayed in a spacious, clean room at the back of the property overlooking the pool. It was beautifully quiet and peaceful (though we can't speak to the noise levels of the front-facing rooms nearer the road).
The facilities were exactly what we...
"The location was perfect, very close to the main square and right on the beach. The servers and staff were so kind and hospitable. Concierge was very sweet but wasn’t able to answer many questions."
"This us a little gem of a hotel!! The rooms are very large, very comfortable and very modern. The breakfast was outstanding with so much choice even the pickiest eater was in heaven!!"
"Everything about our stay was amazing. The room was perfect: clean, comfortable, warm and so spacious! The staff was so welcoming and helpful with everything: from coordinating taxi services to renting a car. The experience was perfected by the staff which is a family who understands what it means to host guests: the breakfast was superb and homemade daily."
