"The staff were very helpful and friendly. They told us that payment of the Kur taxe (part of the hotel bill) included free bus rides into Friedrichshafen which was very helpful as the bus stop was in front of the hotel. In addition, the breakfast was great."
"JUFA Hotel Wangen im Allgäu was a clean, nice and modern looking hotel located in a quiet residential part of town with plenty of parking options (there are several parking lots). Next to the hotel there were sports fields (tennis courts and a football pitch) and the area is great for walking. There are several restaurants near the hotel (Asian restaurant, McDonald's, Burger King,...). We had a room with a double bed and a sofa and the size of the room was good. The bathroom was large,...
"The room was very small and dated. Only large bath towels were provided, with no hand towels or washcloths. Toiletries were limited to hand soap and shower gel. We also found a spider in the room.
With the marathon taking place that weekend, our one-night stay cost $353, which felt far too expensive for the quality of the room.
The staff were very friendly, and the small lobby was nicely presented, with snacks, water, popcorn and a lounge area. However, the lobby appeared to receive more...
"Excellent base for a single night (or longer I’m sure) giving me the chance to revisit some places I’d not been for twenty odd years enroute home from my holiday.
Great room and a lovely breakfast to set me up for the journey home. Thank you!"
"The room was spacious with two full length windows facing outwards to the front of the property. The bathroom had a modern walk in shower that was easy to use. Beds were comfortable, and room had a large wardrobe, fridge, television and a safe. It was over 36 deg outside and there was no air conditioning in the room. A large fan was in the room and it was running constantly while we were there. It helped a bit !
The restaurant was excellent with a good menu and wide selection of drinks. ...
Kommen gern wieder."
