"Nobody seemed excited about their job in the restaurant. It was expensive and that would’ve been ok if the food and experience matched the price but it just didn’t. Also the Hawskill lodge needs a new hvac system. The windows make a horrible way to cool a hot room without a fan."

"This is a beautiful old hotel. The grounds are so well maintained and beautiful. We stayed in the Theodore Roosevelt room, which was lovely with a sitting room. My only complaint was that the couch and chair were not usable. They were extremely uncomfortable., so we didnt really get to enjoy the sitting room."
