"The nearby beach was full of seaweed and under construction. The hotel room was quite warm and the single air conditioner was not enough to cool the room. Breakfast was okay but the location was also hot and humid, with no air conditioning. A clean but very basic hotel with few frills."

"Good location . Rooms dated in need of refurb . Young girl on reception drinks bar was really pleasant . Reception front desk men were awful . Checked in and received key for door and that’s it . No info on breakfast , paid for safe but didn’t give us key . Tried to get into hotel on the first night and the 2 men on reception were shouting and waving there arms about askin why we were in the hotel as we never had wristbands . We didn’t have them because no one gave them to us . Out of 10 people...

"All staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay; the hotel was simple, but we got everything we needed. There’s a convenience store open till 23:30, so that’s also very nice. A 15- 30-minute walk to the beaches, depending on which one you want. A side note: we asked for an airport transfer service beforehand, and I lost my hat somewhere, so I emailed them before and after my stay, but they don’t seem to be checking their mailbox… so it might be a bit hard for international guests...

"Great location. Rooms are quality. Fro!5 desk staff are great. Rooftop is a nice bonus. Beds are very firm. Lock anything of moderate value in your safe, as the house keepers stole the pieces of jewellery that were left out."

"Very nice hotel 5 min walk into albufeira square, bit of a steep hill to get back but not too bad. Staff extremely helpful when I moved from the first hotel I'd booked (it was awful) Room very clean, shower good although I prefer a cubicle it was ok over the narrow bath. Air-conditioning very good. Breakfast continental but good."

"The hotel main building is not pretty to look at. But the apartment units were pleasant and functional. A fair hike to the beach."
