"The room was very spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly. Would stay here again."

"Fantastic location, convenient onsite parking, walkable to nearby shopping and dining on Kirkwood and campus. Clean, friendly staff and IU theme decor makes this hotel special. Grounds beautifully landscaped all year round. Gorgeous hotel inside and out. Starbucks nearby in the Union where hotel is located. Perfect for short or longer stays. Always a top hotel choice for us in Bloomington. Go Hoosiers!"

"Love the indoor pool! Sleep sofa was very old…zippers on cushions were broken…squeaky! Staff is great….breakfast is delicious! Things seemed clean…😊"

"The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. They felt worn and needed to be replaced"

"The staff in the restaurant is above helpful & amazing!!!"

"The location of The Artist Colony couldn’t be better. Right in the middle of town so it was very easy to take our packages back or take a short break. The rooms are all upstairs but there is an elevator to get our luggage to our room. We did enjoy sitting out on the balcony. There is also a restaurant on the main level which we tried twice. I was disappointed in both my meals but there are several others close by. I would definitely stay there again mainly due to the location."

"Super clean, super picturesque and so beautifully located, with ample space in the backyard. The Barn-converted to-A-Frame was perfect for a lot of reason, especially the pool table upstairs was a big hit. Please consider adding a TV next to the Pool table."
