"The hotel has very quirky design style, some may call it creepy ( my kids did) but others may like the western vibe. It was well priced and well placed for our trips into Death Valley National Park. The walls were a bit thin so bring ear plugs. Also, they did not accommodate our request for our 2 rooms to be in the same floor - which wasn't a big deal because our kids were older."

"Our room was at the far end of the hallway on the ground floor, away from the casino (and the not so subtle smell of old, burnt cigarettes), so it was nice and quiet for my early to bed early to rise travel companion and I. Everything was nice and clean, the service staff pleasant and helpful. Only two minor issues were (1) lighting was somewhat inadequate and (2) no fan in the bathroom. On-site meal choices (the steakhouse and Denny’s under the same roof) made for really convenient meal options...

"This property definitely has a monopoly as far as location. Check-in was a surprise as there was an added charge for any potential damages. Nowhere was this disclosed prior to arrival. Restaurant was good, bar was good but very unfriendly wait staff. All in all I would probably not recommend staying here. However, not much else available. "

"Great place very well kept up! The only thing that was slightly irritating was being asked to strip the beds at the end of our stay. Otherwise this was a fantastic stay. "
