"Fantastic location and very clean. So close to see the penguins at dusk amazing views of the Nut"

"Great and good-value-for-money accommodation right in the heart of the historic town of Stanley! The property is a stone’s throw away from the Nut Summit Circuit and Godfreys Beach. A 10min walk took us to the Nut Rock Café, the Nut State Reserve chairlift, and the penguin viewing deck by the beach. For a typical bistro and pub hotel, the property delivered five-star quality service. On arrival after hours, Joe at the bistro welcomed us warmly and facilitated our stress-free check-in. He was...

"You couldn't find a better location for this accommodation in Stanley. The room was clean, very well maintained, great location with the view of The Nut and the staff extremely helpful and kind. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Spent two nights here. Very convenient to The Nut and penguins. Property was very comfortable and clean. Unfortunately there was no working internet at the time. The view was excellent also."

"Stanley is the cutest town ever & so is the Ship Inn! Every single detail is so well thought about & you feel transported in time but with all the lovely luxuries of modern life! The bicycles are a nice touch & a great way to see the town! Thanks for a most beautiful stay!"

"Great little cabin on the lake had all the things needed for a one night stay to visit penguins. Nice and cosy, felt like you were staying at grandmas house"

"An amazing place to stay and visit; we loved our little cottage and the gardens. Our hosts were just lovely and we can't wait to visit again some time! Our only regret; staying just the one night!!"

Imagine beautiful sunsets in front of a roaring fire on the deck in autumn - that’s what we got. (Not sure if the owners arranged the sunsets, but the fire & indoor wood burner were ready to light.) Kitchen was stocked with choice of cereals plus milk & juice for breakfast plus other nice touches. There were many appliances & cookware options and a BBQ to boot. Bathroom & kitchen...

"First impression needs to be improved (weeds in front yard, rot on posts, pealing paint). Home has a lot of charm but furnishings could be updated. Would be a good space for family who don't mind an outdated feel."

"Great place Great hosts Good price "
