"The room was clean with AC. The ocean view was marred by construction going on from 5:00 until 20:00. You get used to the banging. Don't open the window because the mosquitoes are large and wicked. The staff were great. Abdou was extremely helpful when I arrived at 4am and he was able to accommodate me after a long tiring flight. "This hotel has been so far the worst hotel I book for a trip. I booked it for my husband and when he got there he had to wait more than 5 hours to check in. In the beginning he was told that he did not have a reservation, and that he needed to wait for the manager and then he was told 4 hours later that the reservation which I booked and paid for was not paid and he needed to pay for it.
I send a message to try and figure out what had transpired and the manager was rude trying to make me buy...

"Je viens de passer trois jours à l’Hôtel Rio à Ouidah et le séjour a été tout simplement extraordinaire.
L’hôtel est calme, confortable et très agréable. Les lits sont particulièrement confortables, ce qui garantit un excellent repos.
Le personnel mérite une mention spéciale : accueillant, disponible, souriant et toujours prêt à rendre service. On s’y sent vraiment bien pris en charge.
J’aurais aimé prolonger mon séjour, mais le travail m’appelait déjà…
