"We had a hilltop suite with a beautiful view. These are very basic rooms with very limited furniture and kitchen supplies even with the full kitchen suites. This resort is defiantly not worth the 9.0 rating on Expedia. My wife and I have traveled extensively all over the Caribbean over the last 12 years and this resort is a great value for the island since most places are so highly overpriced. "Good:- It was on the beach, so there was easy access. Beach towels were provided. Bad:- 1) The lighting in the room was very poor which makes the room dark when the curtains are drawn. Because people on the outside can see into your room, the curtains need to be drawn. There is a ceiling fan that had sockets for four bulbs and there were no bulbs in any of the sockets, so no light in the centre of the room. The switch for the lamp by one of the bedside tables is damaged, so no light from that...

"The property itself is very nice, however the experience at the front desk checking in was not that good. The last thing one wants to do is to try to remember 20 plus things someone is saying to you about the amenities etc. after you have traveled for over 10 hours and is tired and beat! I think a print out of those things would be extremely helpful to give to guests instead of someone saying it while one is trying to fill out forms.
