"Beautiful quiet location. Lovely atmosphere- especially the old library. Food was excellent and good value for money. Staff very friendly. Small but clean room."

"The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much for them and once I explained the first bedroom I had the first night was too small, as in the bathroom for a large gentleman like myself and the shower too small for me, they changed my room, I still struggled with a single bed, so I would ask for a double bed next time, also be aware, there is a none refundable policy in place, so if did want to cancel in plenty of time, you won't get any money back, just a thought, but again, staff were fantastic...

"Nice location but room needed an update. Very small bathroom and the sink was in the bedroom. We were only informed that no breakfast was available after we checked in even though we had requested breakfast when we booked. Overall disappointed with the hotel. "

"This is a well appointed, conveniently positioned place to stay in Kelso. On site private car parking is available plus free on-street car parking - but please check timings which are well sign posted. Our room was exactly as expected and the en-suite ideal for our needs. Clean beds/linen and windows which opened - always a pleasant find.
