"Overall not a bad stay. Good / convenient location and comfortable. Negatives were room was sparsely furnished for a suit, there is no real comfortable seating in the hotel room or common spaces. This is kinda hidden in the photo manipulations on the webpage. No restaurant or bar on premises, but many close by. Woke up to loud worker noises in the morning so sleeping past 8am. The value is questionable at this hotel for sure, but Florence is actually very expensive now in dollar terms so the...
"Very nice hotel, the rooms were clean and roomy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided us with maps of the city, gave us tips on where to go for various things and arranged for a taxi for us when we left. They were also very accommodating with us Americans always asking for ice! Breakfast was great too! We enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitly stay there again."
"Great location and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is old and tired. It doesn’t look like they have done anything to upgrade it since around 1970. For the price I expected a lot more!"
"Clean and quaint, classic hotel. Nice and helpful front desk. Easily accessible from the train station - 5 min walk. Convenient location to historic center. Loads of restaurants, cafes, shopping. Good AC.
Breakfast included was a nice bonus and it had a large selection of virtually all breakfast food. Hotel was quiet but street noisy. They have a place to store luggage.
I was a solo traveler and felt very safe."
"In reference to the hotel, you couldn’t ask for a better location The rooftop bar is beautiful. You have a great view. You can enjoy it the breakfast was great. The rooms are clean. It’s an older building so you’re gonna have to deal with a small bathroom but overall, the facilities is a good place to stay. We really enjoyed our four days there so any one that decides to come to Florence and stay there you will make a good choice . Santa Novela train station. It’s four minute walking distance so...
"The room was small but clean and well appointed.
In an excellent location close the Duomo and a 10 minute walk to the train station.
I would highly recommend this hotel."
