"Clean updated historic hotel in downtown Des Moines. Excellent staff and accommodations. Conveniently located within walking distance to venues, restaurants and other entertainment."

"The location was great, so many places within walking distance. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was it advertised free parking - which was not true. It was $38/night to valet or parking was $10/night in a ramp across the street, which was a bit of a pain to get in and out of. Also, there was an extremely large wedding that occupied not only the ballrooms, but much of the shared common space and the music was so loud, so late, that it was hard to sleep."
