"I had a sea view and the view was absolutely stunning. The room was good, bed really comfortable and clean, bathroom clean and seemed relatively new. Water pressure not the best but it's an old building. Looked like someone had spilled bleach on the carpet at the bathrrom door but was clean apart from that. Plenty drawers and wardrobe space. I ate in the restaurant one night and it was nice, good choice and tasty. Maybe a bit old fashioned but it fits with the hotel, which is an old character...

"Pet friendly is an understatement. The staff were so accommodating and went way above to make us and our dog Blue so welcome from his welcome pack to the fuss made over him it made our visit truly special. Massive thanks to Lucie, Taylor and Ray for looking after us and the old dog. Breakfast was brilliant and the I would highly recommend the Haggis, Neeps and Tatties. Probably the spiciest and best I've tasted."

"Have been before to this boutique hotel and the standard has never failed. Guy on reception was friendly and pleasant. Advised that food wasn’t available atm in the hotel but that he would telephone two down at the Seamill Hydro Hotel for dinner and gave us a voucher for breakfast at same hotel. Dinner booking was abit late for us so declined and went elsewhere. The breakfast was lovely at the Hydro. Hotel was nice and warm, room and bathroom spotless. Would return and recommend to others"

"Expedia booked me at the wrong Tarbert. I asked for the Tarbert on Isle of Harris. Apparently, this happens a lot. The hotel I did stay at in the Tarbert I was hoping for said it’s a common mistake. They’ve tried informing booking companies, to no avail. Though I contacted the Anchor about the booking mistake, I was charged full price for a room I was 250 miles from."

"Clean and fresh room with great services. They had a fan in the room which is uncommon but soo needed on the warm days! Highly recommend booking a room if you're in the area!"
