"Our kids loved the basketball court, the view from our balcony was amazing, room was clean, beds were good and the breakfast in the morning was great. staff was super helpful and we enjoyed a night cap from the bar. Would highly recommend this stop and would definitely stay again in the future."

We were travelling to Baddeck when a powerful storm hit the Maritimes on September 5th. The provincial government declared a local state of emergency in Victoria County (and a couple others) in which Baddeck is situated and people were advised to stay off the roads unless travel was for health, safety, or emergency purposes.

"Everything was clean and the check in and out was easy.
I was disappointed that we didn't know where the private beach was. I thought we were on the beach side but looks like we might have been across the road. We were only there for a short night as we checked in after 7PM and left at 7.30AM due to our schedule, but we were hoping to do a beach walk.
Other than that, we had no issues"

The door that was left open for us to access the room had a sign reading ‘please use other door’. The contact number to call was unresponsive. "Unique property, staff was friendly and accommodating and there was a nice breakfast provided in the morning. Kids liked staying here, as there were 3 beds in our room so they didn't have to share. Our only complaint would be the bugs and spiders in the room. It is a "cottage style" vibe, so if you are looking for fancy, it might not be your place."
