"We were given an accessible room, no AC but the reception kindly provided us with fans and ice. The duvets were very thick for the time of the year. The pool closing time is way too early, maybe consider pushing it to 8pm."

"Hotel is in a good location, ample parking. It's a stately building fairly well maintained, though the elevator access on floor 1 is hindered by the carpeting that restricts the door from opening. Yes you have to manually open the door to access the 50 + year old elevator and make sure it doesnt swallow any body part when the door closes, very cool. The food in the attached restaurant/ pub was good, though the service was hindered by only 1 person doing everything, hotel check in and restaurant...

"Lovely twin room dual aspect window with biscuits, tea and coffee. En-suite was a little small as knees touched the door when on the toilet, but I’d rather have one than not at all. Nice surprise to have a full cooked breakfast with fruit and cereal, rather than just continental as it says in the blurb."
