"Very unfriendly staff.
The first room was extremely noisy. So much so it sounded like the Mann going to the bathroom in his room was using our room's bathroom .
We asked to move rooms because we couldn't sleep, so they downgraded our room and sent us up to an uncleaned room.
We went out, upon treatment realised that someone had been in our room (this was after the cleaning was finished before we took the room), and the back doors to the balcony did not lock.
It took us explaining and then...
"Great hotel and location but need to be ready to mark car on public parking and walk with suitcases to hotel
It is a little challenging when arrive but it is great hotel"
"What lovely people! We loved our stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They were patient and kind as I tried speaking Spanish. Wonderful! Our room was spotless, the air conditioning was powerful and the room was clearly made to feel welcoming. The location is fantastic for seeing the older part of the city. Views around the corner are great. We had a really relaxing and delicious breakfast here, outside the hotel soaking up some of the Peñíscola atmosphere. Coffee was excellent! This...
"The rooms were outdated but clean we were only there for the night we didn’t use any amenities but there was a full kitchen with fridge microwave and I believe oven . Overall it wasn’t bad for the price"
"Great location, outstanding staff, very family friendly with lots going on for the kids and the grandparents. Many multi-generational families were staying at the hotel and many seemed to be regulars returning year after year. There were some maintenance issues, such as only a trickle of water from the kitchen faucet, but none were showstoppers. It’s a beach resort so you do expect sand on the room and balcony floors.
We’ll seriously consider returning when another trip to Spain comes up on our...
