"Rooms a bit dated but fine and comfortable. Smart TV recently installed which was good addition.
Staff very helpful and approachable.
Food good. Bar busy as a popular wedding venue.
Third stay here and will return again. Good value and great location.

"The hotel in situated in a lovely location and we found it to be very quite we suited us nicely. We had breakfast and evening meal and we could not fault it. We normally stay in the travel lodge when we go up to Bishop Auckland but we will use the Park Head in future."

"The staff were very friendly, welcoming and efficient. The food was very good. The hotel is very comfortable, well furnished and very quiet being a little remote. No outside noise and very little noise inside the hotel even with coach parties staying over. Looking forward to my next visit."
