"The room snd entire property were spotless clean. Staff wete helpful and friendly. Our room and patio overlooked the d'Orcia valley, gorgeous any time, especially in the morning. The entire grounds, pool, loungers, plants were well maintained. This was our third time at Cassanova and we would come again. A short walk into San Quirico d'Orcia with several good restaurants and a COOP store for drinks and groceries."

"This place was just okay. They will tell you there is air conditioning and trust me, there isn't. They told us it comes up through the floor, and they described it as radiant cooling, but it isn't as there are no condensers on the property. They put a fan in the room which made it bearable. "Lorenzo and Giacomo were the perfect hosts! We arrived on foot from the Siena train station at their beautiful oasis just outside the city walls, and were grateful to spend 4 nights in September 2026. Many people who stay here seem to have cars as they offer great parking just outside of Siena which has traffic limited zones. Palazzo di Valli was our home base to explore Tuscany. Highlights included visiting San Gimignano, hiking sections of the Via Francigena, and learning about Italian wines...
